Travelling can be a stressful time, especially at peak airport times or going through security. Our brief was to create a simple animation that would play on a loop at the security screening areas of NZ airports. The purpose was to help travellers know what to expect when going through security and also the expectations levied for treating staff with respect.

The visual style of the animation expands the limited palette of AvSec to include more playful colours. We kept the style simple, built of whole shapes but with added dimension from tints, transparency, and perspective. This style was chosen to stand out in the airport, engage travellers of all ages, and show clearly the security screening process whilst still adding humour and fun.
