Long-term clients of ours, Aviation Security Service (AvSec), reach out every so often with a fun project in between the other collateral we produce for them over the year. This year we were commissioned to create a fun and engaging pull-up banner that would be placed at the security screening areas during the big summer holiday rush post-Covid.

We pitched a holiday themed ‘where’s wally’ style illustration of the security screening process, to keep travellers entertained and distracted during the potentially long wait to get through the gates at NZ airports. Our ‘wally’ is the AvSec explosive detector dog, and we had our illustrator place all the studio members of Mark Creative as an added challenge – can you find us all?
We had some great feedback from the client who loved it, the public who took the time to engage with it, and the Mark Creative staff and alum who found us all in the illustration while travelling!
